2^nd April: Afternoon 1:1 review

With the Intern Reviews complete, in the afternoon I went round the classroom giving 1 to 1s and giving advice from any students that needed help

Student 10:

• Asked how to create a floor render with watercolour: my response was to experiment on the side of the page with different techniques to decide which one they would want on their final floorplan

Student 11:

• Student is creating a house that would with stand earthquakes, floods, and wildfires in Madagascar
• Advice to explore further with precedents on all three aspects within a building and how it withstands the pressure
• Advice to create drawings of initial ideas on ways to concur this individually and then combine
• Advice to create models on how to create these functions to see how it works

Student 12:

• Helped with google maps and how to access streets views in china as on google earth had been blocked
• Looked at Baidu maps /
• Looked at geode maps x

Student 8 from previous blog:

• Hexi model on SketchUp
• Tried using model paper by curving
• Reminds me of a slinky

Student 4 from previous blog:

• Wanting to create a habitation for animals in danger due to the deforestation
• Location within the rainforest
• Advised to look at statistics of animals more extinct
